Can you empty the Liz Earle Pump dispensers?

You know, the Cleanse and Polish ones?
I'm just wondering if they come apart or do you have to rely on the pump to fully empty them - I'm sure that I've got another couple of washes left in the bottle!

I haven't tried it but if you are at that stage where no more is coming out of the pump then I'd like to hear if you manage to dismantle it!

Generally with tubes and things there is more left if you cut them open, but those pump dispensers are pretty solid.

i hate those pumps for that reason. Liz earle insists that the pump will dispense all the washes.

my step dad cuts the tube for my mum on pump dispensers but he has heavy duty tools.

I think you can get them open - I have managed it with the Elemis pro-radiance cleanser (by accident - dropped it on the floor and the pump came out/apart from the canister). With the Elemis one the cleanser is in a see through plastic 'bag' that compresses as it empties so although I cut it open to see, there was only about 1/2 face wash left (once I scraped it out). I was quite impressed actually - thought it would be one of those ones that had loads left inside.

Not much help for the LE one sorry Grin

lol, I'm actually quite nosy now to see if I can get it open - i'll report back if there's much wastage!

OP, do you know about the super drug version of c and p?? It's amazing and imo actually better than Liz's stuff ! I've just discovered out and it's AMAZINGGrin

I have sawn mine open with the breadknife and got loads out in my time but I am part maniac part stinge.

BeaLola · 17/08/2013 19:46

I was pretty impressed as I managed to saw the C&P canister open and it was empty, nothing in there, zero. TBH it was my only time of having one and unlike most products that come in bottles etc there was nothing to scrape out. I was impressed as it really bugs me how much gets left behind in most things.

DH unimpressed that I used the bread knife !

alemci · 17/08/2013 19:51

yes that is what liz earle consultant said so it is a good product with no waste

Just snap the top off - ok, it takes a bit of effort but well worth it. There’s tons left inside.
