I have some for they eyes and one for the lips. Pros: quick, no mess, long lasting, don't smudge. Cons: can't be pinpoint accurate (with eyes, lips no problem) and for some reason the eyeshadows don't seem to blend brilliantly. It's not been a problem for me because I'm not a perfectionist with my eye make up but if you're one of those miracle workers someone who likes to shade/define their eyes by using 12 3 shades of eyeshadow in exactly the right places then I'd say they're not for you!

I like the lip ones - not used it much but it lasts well and doesn't dry out my lips too much.

I haven't had to sharpen them yet - I have a feeling that will be interesting!

They're ok, but the colours are a bit blah. Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier make much better cream shadow sticks.

hevak - I wouldn't have thought that you could sharpen them? They are wind-up sticks in plastic casings.

I like the lip ones but found the eye ones pretty rubbish.

They don't sharpen! They're wind-up products, like the lip ones are.
