Bra disappointment - come hither all ye 30FFs/30Gs

I ordered the Charlotte Retro bra and matching briefs (L - 10/12) by Parfait by Affinitas. I ordered my usual size (30GG) but it's just a smidge too small on the cup and the centre gore was about 2-3mm away from sitting flat (I'd have accepted that if there had been no overspill). I had a bit of an orange in a glass thing going on too.

It's a beautiful bra (4 hooks at the back, lovely wide bands and straps) but TBH I think it's a bit wide for me. There seemed to be a lot of it on my fairly short torso.

Anyway, I can return it to the US but have to pay P&P plus a 10% re-stocking fee (unless I do an exchange and I'm not going to bother as I don't think a bigger cup is the answer). So, if anyone is interested in taking it off my hands, then please PM me. I paid £43 for the set inc. P&P so make me an offer.

Whats orange in a glass

It's where your boob is the wrong shape (and often too big as well) so it won't actually fit into the bottom of the cup.

I've been told that I have narrow, deep set boobs so maybe this one is too shallow? I'm not sure and I'm so disappointed. It's so lovely. Sob.

Only in their world. I haven't tried them on as there didn't seem to be any point. I asked the store which size to order for 40" hips and they said a large which would fit with the reviews I've read which say there isn't a lot of stretch!

I loosened the straps which helped with the quadboob and I don't think they would slip off but, but, but... just not quite right.

What cup does it go up to?

As the clothes are American their L (10-12) is much larger than a UK large - think more (14-16) which does count as large in 'young' or fashion ranges eg large at Zara is not normal large.

I know how US sizes relate to our sizing, but trust me, these knickers are not a large in any country except for Lillput!

flootshoot I'd take anything vaguely close . A friend is trying it at the mo but I think it's going to be a cup size too big for her!
