What to I buy now??

Needs to be cheaper if possible.

Lots of you recommended the Superdrug ones on that thread, which items do you use.

Need a cleanser I can use muslins with, toner and a decent moisturiser for fairly normal/dry skin Smile

I use Body shop or Lush products: Body Shop Pomegranite serum, moisturiser (the SPF 15 one has been a godsend this summer) & nightcream. Lush cleanser - always forget its name, but it's the pink one with seaweed in it & Eau Roma toner.

I have recently bought Boots Botanics balm cleanser, currently reduced to £5.99. It's a Caroline Hirons approved cheap balm cleanser. It's very good, can't imagine I'd like a more expensive one proportionately more.

CatelynStark · 15/08/2013 23:28

Can I ask what's been revealed about LE?

Fairyloo · 15/08/2013 23:28

Oh no what was the Liz Earle revelations???

OneLittleLady · 15/08/2013 23:31

The Superdrug Naturally Radiant stuff is good. I believe there's a hot cloth cleanser in the range and I use the moisturizer from the range for normal/dry skin and it's honestly the best one I've ever used on my face. No breakouts, no greasy residue and lovely soft skin.

nocarsgo · 15/08/2013 23:31

I'm wondering what the revelations are myself! Surely not selling out to Avon, that was a couple of years ago.

Mosschops30 · 15/08/2013 23:39

Well I'm way behind then because I only read it on here last week Shock

Very disappointed that I'm not spending a fortune having all my Skincare and shower gel from some lovely little place on the IOW where Liz skips round sniffing berries just for my shower gel GrinGrinGrin
I certainly won't be paying Avon for the privilege anyway

Now who is Caroline hirons? Not that dreadful QVC woman is it?

jedward do you use the balm cleanser as you would a normal cleanser?

You can use ANY cream or balm cleanser as a 'hot cloth' cleanser! That's the freedom of it - so find a brand/price-point that you like and enjoy! I rotate a few depending on my skin, including the Emma Hardie balm as my main. But I regularly use green people or other brands that I find and like the look/smell of!

chanie44 · 16/08/2013 06:54

I've used LE for years but can no longer afford it since having children. I've recently discovered the Superdrug naturally radiant range. I'm using the hot cloth cleanser and moisturiser and im really impressed, as its just as good as LE. Plus when on offer its £2.99!!!!

Crutchlow35 · 16/08/2013 08:12

Liz sold out almost in march 2010. Since then the formulas have changed. C&P has definitely changed as has the body cream. Shame. Plus the prices.

chanie44 · 16/08/2013 08:44

When LE changed the formula of the C&P, the consistency changed and it was more gloppy.
The Superdrug naturally radiance version is is more like the original C&P.

Mosman · 16/08/2013 08:49

I like the sancturary version, so far so good and the cloth is decent quality too.

SundaySimmons · 16/08/2013 08:53

Wasn't Liz Earle bought out by Avon?

I've not been overly impressed with the products. The hot cloth cleanser is no better than a flannel and your usual cleanser or you can buy your own Muslim cheaply and cut into squares.

SundaySimmons · 16/08/2013 08:54

Muslin not Muslim! Sorry, I don't advocate cutting any Muslims up into squares!

DameFanny · 16/08/2013 08:55

While I disagree with the economics of cutting muslims into squares, I'm using coconut oil as a hot cloth cleanser and its good stuff.

DameFanny · 16/08/2013 08:56

What about triangles Sunday? Grin

justaweeone · 16/08/2013 08:56

I have been using the Aidi cleaner with a derma flannel and my skin has never looked better.
