Low maintenance product for busy mum with wavy hair

I'm returning to work next week after a year of maternity leave and thinking about how to save time in the mornings! I have long wavy hair that dries in a cloud of frizz if just left after washing. I'm searching for a product that I can use after washing my hair in the evening and wake with nice curls, ready to go in the morning. Any suggestions?!

I have mid length thick wavy hair. I wash in the evening with Ausie Miracle Shine shampoo and conditioner, towel dry and apply 2 pumps of Elvive Extraordinary Hair oil, then I twist into loose ropes and don't touch until the morning when I run my fingers through it am good to go. Takes no time at all, usually still damp going to bed though as takes forever to dry.

Sounds great, how do you secure the ropes?! With grips? Or bands? Or not secure?

I don't secure them, just twist and leave them. I used to blow dry it straight every day... So much easier now to just embrace the waves!

Agree - embrace the waves! I work a very small amount of coconut oil through my (thick, wavy, highlighted) hair after washing and twist it like MrsRoger. It looks so much healthier for not drying and straightening, and I think it's a more flattering look for everyday.

Go easy on the oil, though - it's a fine line!

Glad you posted this, I was going to do similar. I'm embracing my waves but they're a bit frizzy for my liking!

Thanks for the tips. Any more anyone?

Can I ask what hair cut you ladies have with curly/wavy hair? Mine is very thick, so I get it layered, but when I have it cut shorter it does seem to go into a triangle shape 😧

OP when I use curl creme from Boots it makes my hair dry curvier, whilst using an oil reduces the frizz.
