I'm the queen of cold feet.
my trusted birkies are falling apart.

so, my next slippers need to be

• warm
• un offensive (so I can take the bins out without offending the neighbours)
• comfy
• wide (have very wide feet and a high arch)
• supportive insole (old injury makes it painful to walk in too flat shoes)

that sounds a lot like birkies again...

OP's probably all sorted by now but for those of us with Christmas money to spend Joe's Toes have just added some Yorkshire-made hand stitched woolly slippers to their website. They mainly sell kits for slippers.

I got Ugg Ansley slippers for Christmas - they're moulded to my feet after just a few days. So so comfortable - I spend a fair bit of time standing on a tiled floor and these are surprisingly supportive.

Avo their vote for moshulu here. I'm a 39 in birkies but 7 everywhere else including moshulu.

Mine have outdoor soles which is perfect for me because I'm always trudging to the bins. They are in their second winter and look pretty good still.

Not sure what mine are called but they are spotty and warm

I've got some gorgeous Shepherd (Swedish make) ballet slippers. Real sheepskin and very toasty on the toes - they also do slides and booties. Ugg quality but less pricy, and sometimes you can get them in TK Maxx.

I was bought some padders for xmas. They are super hot with mem foam insoles. I'd def recommend.
