'Noses' !! please come here and suggest a cheap(er) alternative scent for me

I only seem to like a few scents and they're all too expensive (imo). Love channel number 19, love Christalle! Is there anything cheaper that smells like number 19? or am I dreaming!

I like ck one too and that is more my price range. But I need a break from it. I don't smell it anymore. It's the only scent I can afford that I keep going back to.

Here's what I'd like, something beautifully crisp, lively, refreshing and interesting. Smile

Nothing sweet or floral or musky. I do like men's scents too sometimes. I remember noticing that burberry weekend for men was nice. I'd wear that but the burberry weekend for women was not as nice.

Anybody have any good suggestions?

I can't help, but love Chanel 19 as well, so if there's something around that rips it off for ££££s cheaper I'd like to know as well!

(I can offer Byblos Cielo as virtually identical to Mugler Angel but for about £10- used to love it but it's too young and heavy for me now)

Clinique Happy is quite refreshing and crisp. Imagine is more or less Chanel prices though.

I asked my colleague the other day what she was wearing and she said it was the same one she was wearing last time I sniffed her and asked Grin and it was Guerlain basil and orange eau de toilette which was also nice and fresh but again, am guessing ££££s.

funnily enough I do really like Happy, and have worn it. I tend to get sick of it before the bottle is finished and then I take a break from it. Pleasures by estee lauder is like that too. I love the frst half of the bottle and then I think 'ah! gak!'.

That never happens with number 19.

The guerlain one sounds nice, but they are £££££££££££ too.

There is an Irish scent 'Inis' that meets my criteria as it's lovely, supposed to smell of the sea, well, it's salty, very cheap but it is SO weak that ten minutes after putting it on there's no remaining trace of it.

The search continues.

Silences by Jacomo is a cheap but decent variation of the Chanel No. 19 theme. Also check eBay, you can sometimes find used bottles of the original for less.

I love 19 and Cristelle too.
I also like space NK Laughter, fresh and light. The small bottle is around £20.
I love Estée Lauder white Linen, although around £40.
Hermes Un Jardin sur la Nile, lovely but expensive.
Claris Eau resourcante is very fresh too.
Have fun choosing

Thanks for those leads! I will try the NK Laughter and the clarins eau resourcante. I don't like the original in the red bottle much, never tried the others, so I will do that now. Yes I remember liking estee lauder white linen I think.

Never heard of Silences by Jacomo but I will definitely try and track that down!

Thanks!
