Ankle boots for skinny ankles/legs

Anyone else have this problem? I have really skinny ankles / legs and I'd love a pair of ankle boots. However, they all look ridiculous/make my feet look huge with huge gaps round the ankles.
Anyone know of any retailers/styles that are suitable?

I also 'suffer' from skinny leg syndrome and got a pair of tan heeled ankle boots from HoF Linea range in the spring. They're super comfortable and I haven't been conscious of them being too loose around the ankle.
