Any suggestions? I want something I can shove on when its freezing that will keep my feet as warm as Uggs do, but maybe slightly less ugly.

Tia!

Have a look at what Celtic and Co have to offer.

Celtic sheepskin.

I've got some mou-online.com/ they're the warmest things ever.

Quite similar to uggs though.

Celtic Sheepskin

Got their new winter catalogue through yesterday and its full of scrummy stuff.

British made.

I've had the shortie boots as slippers for 3 years, been washed a fair few times, still in great nick.

Have you looked at Merrell boots?

noisytoys · 13/08/2013 09:20

Uggs do boots that don't look like the classic UGGs. Waterproof snow boots, leather boots, heels, trainers etc they are great. I have loads of UGGs and none look like the UGGs everyone thinks about

CMOTDibbler · 13/08/2013 09:28

I've got Merrell Privoz and they are super warm - I've still had toasty feet standing around in the snow on frozen ground

GobblersKnob · 13/08/2013 10:38

I also have some Merrell Prevoz, and they are the warmest thing I have ever worn.

If anyone is after Celts there is 10% off a first order using code AU1302C.
Just ordered some (Regular Celts in Blue Iris with the tan leather heels etc, yum!) and thought I'd share the love!

Mou boots are lovely - I have some fur ones (goat and lamb, I think) which are so warm and cosy. Not good for wet weather though.

For very wet days and cold winters I use Sorel boots. They aren't pretty, but they are amazing when standing in field in -18 degrees Celsius training the dog.

Timberland make very nice boots too.

I have loads of ugg boots. My ugh noira are fab and warm and look like biker boots. Also have ugh Tatum which are leather and warm inside with sheepskin liners.
