When, where and what to buy for posh wedding in December?

BIL is getting married in December. They are having a big wedding and I think the dress code is black tie for men, evening dress for women.

What sort of shops should I go to and when should I start looking? Is the winter stuff in yet? I'm thinking of spending about £200 on dress, shoes and accessories (or less if I can get away with it).

I'm 5ft3, curvy size 12 and I need to wear a proper bra so no strapless or strappy dresses.

Any ideas please or is it too early? TIA.

I'm not keen on the TKMaxx one FaddyPeony, I think it would be a bit long and too clingy on me but I might go into the shop and see what else they have.

I'm not sure about arms BetsyBidwell. I'll be running around after my 2DDs (age 4 and nearly 2), and tend to get a bit hot and sweaty, though I think I could manage lace arms. Short or cap sleeves would be fine.

ThisIsYourSong I like the colour of the jigsaw one, but I'm rubbish at dressing things up so would need help with accessories. Not keen on the John Lewis ones. I'll go into Karen Millen next time I'm in town. I like the dress in the link, but not sure if it would suit me. The LK Benner in blue seems like a bit of a bargain, reduced from 245 to 95. It's similar to dresses I already have, but not sure if it's eveningy enough.
