I was very excited by the special 25% off promotion for this week.

I checked the website today and sure enough the dress I wanted, the Marilyn dress is showing as 25% off- result!

EXCEPT- they are only doing 25% off in some sizes! So if you are a size 10 you don't get the discount! Isn't this discrimination or something!!

And don't dare to say that you want the dress in a particular colour as the 25% only applies to the dodgy colours that no one will buy at full price!

I've had a look and can't see anything differently priced for different sizes. Which sizes are reduced and which not?

Well maybe I was just unlucky, I wanted the Marilyn dress in teal, size 10 but it's full price. I rang up and the girl said reductions are only on certain items in particular sizes and shades. I asked if she was sure about the reduction only being for particular sizes and she said yes!

It's not the size. Marilyn dress (I want it too ) is only reduced in the slate shade. Pine is full-price across all sizes.

If it's a dress which they carry from one season to the next, you'll probably find the new colours are full price and the old ones reduced?

That is odd. When buying the children's clothing there is a price hike once you go from 5-6 up to 7-8 but I have never come across it for the adult range. I'd drop them an email/FB post to clarify.

Perhaps the sale is for overstocks, sizes and colours that haven't sold very well? Like most sales?

I think this is quite normal - I've encountered this on many online shops.

The teal Marilyn dress isn't reduced in any sizes - its only the slate that's 25% off.
