I'm going to a mad wedign and we have to wear oxfam type outfits. So i bouht a mens top hat, and morning suit and wearing with my wellies. (It's a camping, weekend, mad wedding).

I need white gloves, a cravat, one of those bib things (do you kwim?) and a false moustache, and anything else that will ad to my outfit. Gpnna hopefully look like a bit of a swell when I'm finished.

I have a picture of you in my head looking like \link{http://www.ftw-design.com/images/peinture/charlie-chaplin.jpg\this}

Sounds like a great laugh.

DH got a fake moustache from our local fancy dress shop - really cheap.

meant to say he doesn't wear it everyday - bought it for a fancy dress party once Grin

Had a look for the bib things (think they're called 'dickies')) but couldn't find any - you may have to go with a dress shirt, or how about a backless waistcoat, as in Flashdance (remember thatGrin?)

am rummaging valiantly but having trouble with the false shirt front - they were usually only for evening wear so might look weird (well, weirder) under a morning coat anyway.
If you just want any old shirt with a wing collar, \link{http://www.studenttailor.co.uk/shop/dressshirt_sh403.htm\this} seems a pretty good price, or try \link{http://search.ebay.co.uk/wing-collar_W0QQfromZR40QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ3QQsbrsrtZd\ebay} - check your collar size first.

The other option (which I have used with success when dressing as a bunny girl) is to get a \link{http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Attachable-Wing-Collar-for-Barrister-Shirt_W0QQitemZ8433445877QQcategoryZ38403QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem\detachable collar} and just put the cravat round it. Legal outfitters do them (and aren't normally too pricey), but I got mine from the second-hand uniform shop of King's School Canterbury (who still wear them for lessons) for £1, because it happened to be local.

Think a waistcoat would be a good touch, and if you could possibly lay your hands on one, a silver-topped cane...
