I'm currently on holiday and have a strapless bra which fits really well but is killing me! It's fine at first but then the little bits of plastic (boning?) at the sides bend and dig in. Would it kill the bra if I remove the plastic bits? I'm in the middle of nowhere so getting a new bra isn't possible. TIA

I think if you take the plastic out it might compromise the structural integrity, so the fabric of the bra might just roll up and not support you at all.

Can you get your hands on something soft, like cotton wool pads? Perhaps if you tuck that underneath where the boning digs in it might help a little.

How big are you in cup size? Could you go braless? Could you strap yourself down with a stretchy scarf? If you only wear the bra when you absolutely need to it'll give your skin a break from the pressure.

Thanks for the reply. I'm DD cup but quite flat on top so don't feel comfortable going bra less except inside as I need the support to stop me looking flat chested. Madness as when I was smaller l always thought DD was massive!
