If you had £100 to spend in Boots, what would you buy?

I have £100 on my Boots advantage card and it is burning a hole in my purse. I was saving up for a new bottle of Coco Chanel but DP knew mine was about to run out and bought me a bottle back from his holiday.....so now what do I buy? I was hoping for something as a treat that I wouldn't spend £100 of 'real' money on and don't want to just fritter it on lots of little things I would buy anyway IYSWIM.

I would spend it on make-up of the luxury variety. Chanel, dior etc. Or on some fab skincare products from estee lauder.

KosherBacon · 08/08/2013 21:44

Clarins Exfoliating Toner, Clarins Multi Active Day Cream and some botanic cleansing balm.

Wereonourway · 08/08/2013 21:47

I'd buy shit loads of nail varnish, some naice shampoo and conditioner, some luxurious body lotion and probs some kids clothes for ds

AmethystMoon · 08/08/2013 21:50

Ooh yes I had forgotten big branches do the higher end make up and skin care.

I'd spend it on makeup. Probably clinique or clarins.

CaptainKirksNipples · 08/08/2013 21:57

I would get the matching body lotion or shower gel Smile

fengirl1 · 08/08/2013 21:57

If Clinique Bonus Time is still on, I'd do that, and then fripperies for the rest. Smile

higherhill · 08/08/2013 22:13

Clarins double serum

PoppyWearer · 08/08/2013 22:20

Good make-up from Clinique and Estée Lauder.

In fact this is precisely what I do, save up my points until I have enough to fund a make-up splurge.

If you get lucky and tell a sob story to the assistant hopefully you'll get some good samples too. I usually lay it on thick about being a SAHM who doesn't usually get to buy/use good make-up (true!). Last year I scored the free gift even after the promotion had ended and I was paying with points.Grin

Hydraluron - about £25-£30.

Something from Clarins, probably a moisturiser as they are lovely.

Then some posh make up.

SupermansBigRedPants · 08/08/2013 22:24

My first thought was perfume but you're covered there, next would be a big electrical - new straighteners/hairdryer/ shaver things etc. Then clothes for the dc Blush I'm not hugely into make up or at all so don't have a clue there!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/08/2013 22:30

I'd buy:
straighteners for about £50 of it
probably a new pot of Benetint
lovely bubble bath
something from Clarins

TallulahBetty · 08/08/2013 22:34

Raid Soap & Glory!

MollyNollyNoo · 08/08/2013 22:37

A use in the bath epilator.

charlieandlola · 08/08/2013 22:40

Decent ( high end ) mascara and foundation. Save the rest until your chanel perfume runs out again.

AmethystMoon · 09/08/2013 06:20

Lots of great ideas, thanks everyone Grin
