What beach attire do you wear and do you like the way you look in it?

I think I need to buy one of those little wrap around skirts to put on top of my swimming costume and hide my fat tum :-(

I have 2 really nice swimming costumes but I haven't as yet found the figure to match. Better than having a costume that matches my figure though maybe...

I am 17 weeks pregnant, was a size 10-12 before i fell pregnant this time but still had loads of stretch marks from being pregnant with DD and I still wore my normal triangle bikini's. My theory was, if you don't like it, don't look.
However, now am slightly concious again what with being pregnant, having stretchmarks and at present only looking like i've eaten too many cakes, I have brought one of \link{http://search.next.co.uk/search?p=Q&ts=custom&nxti=0&nxtv=0&nb=&np=&w=sequin+trim+crinkle+kaftan&af=cat_womenswear&images=on&cnt=12\these}. It is great and hides everything nicely, still sunbathe in my normal bikini, just put this on to wander around in.

My recent fears of exposing my body on holidays were rapidly allayed when I got there and saw everyone else, indeed there were no Gisele's to be found anywhere Grin

They look nice. Nice and feminine.

Haven't worn a bikini in years. When I try them on , they just don't look right so I always end up with a swimming costume instead. I see a lot of much bigger women in bikinis though but somehow it suits them and they can carry it off. Don't think I really have a bikini figure.

I like the idea of towelling shorts for hanging around on the beach but the only ones I see are hipster shorts (thanks I don't wear hipster clothes) and half your bum hanging out. They might look nice on Britney Spears but not on most people.
