What do you think of these shoes and can anyone suggest similar ones?

I like the look of these but they're on the expensive side. Has anyone seen any similar? I like brogues and have wanted some for years but they always look way too chunky on me (I have ridiculous pin-sized ankles). I thought these could be a good alternative, but not sure...

I like the French Soles too and they will be beautifully flexible on your feet.

I've got really skinny legs and I got my brogues from Dune.

Thanks littlemiss. The rest of my legs aren't that skinny, just my ankles! Thinking about it it might just be that the mannish style of brogues doesn't suit the rest of my style (not that I'm sure what that is). I love them on other people though. Will try some more just to check then maybe go for the dancing shoes instead...

I like the slender ankle/brogue look. I like the contrast between the functionality and 'hardness' of a brogue and the delicate turn of ankle. But I am weird ....Alexa Chung embodies that look. And mannish Brogues on very feminine or 'girly' outfits are something I find preferable to wearing them Annie Hall style with a suit/mannish tailoring.

It is a great look mignonette but I just feel like it doesn't work on me. I guess I'd have to go for a style day to find out why
