Financially it makes better sense to buy a larger size, but if you just want to see if you like it, it may be a good idea.

my cousin has had facials from her and swears the balm is the best ever. i've never been able to afford it, space Nk only did the big sizes i think. so might give a go

Having listened to Caroline hirons - I have switched to Clinique take the day off balm. Cheaper, but no fragrance so much better for sensitive skin.
