Do you ever get one long fine hair

growing from somewhere completely random?

I was putting my makeup on earlier and there was a fine hair about half an inch long growing from the middle of my cheek. It must have sprung up overnight because I didn't notice it yesterday.

And about two years ago I had another one growing in my cleavage area! It's mortifying because I wonder if anyone else noticed before I did.

Does this happen to anyone else, or am I hormonally odd?

No this happened to me too, I saw it one day, plucked it, forgot about it - it disappeared for ages. Then about a year later, my husband reached over and pulled it - eek - he thought it was a loose hair off my head! I was mortified. That was about 5 years ago, and since I plucked that one, there's been no sign. Although I do find myself scrutinizing my face all the time now!

Yes this has just started to happen to me.

I've had random ones on my face. This week I also had a very long one on my arm. I'm 47 so I put it down to my age.

Yep. One that grows under my chin. It can get as long as an inch if I miss it for a while. Also one that grows on the crease above my left nostril. Only grows to about 1/2 a cm but I can sometimes feel it wafting about when it's windy!

I get this every couple of months! They must grow in a few hours and are v v fine. I get one on the left side of my nose and one between my boobs and i think I've had a couple of others before as well. I'm not a hairy person and am only 31. Why does it happen?!

I have one that grows out of the centre of my forehead. It's so fine I don't see it very often, so by the time I do spot it (when the light is right)- it's grown really long. I get a bit obsessed with it.

I have one fine white one in my cleavage (not seen it since I had DS actually), I find it every 6 months or so and it's always around 2 inches in length by the time I see it. The horror!

Yep I had one clear one from the middle of my face the other day! Was properly long and did seem to just appear during the night!

Yes I get one on the side of my nose.

I'm a very hairy person and have hairs on my top lip and chin, but this hsir is different its not obvious, dark and course, it's fine, blond and almost invisible.

I found one nestled under my chin like a little kitten. Lord knows how long it had been there.

i have several.. i call them super hairs. One on my wrist, one on a shoulder and one on my jaw line.
no explanation for them but they do grow back in the same place
