I know its still summer but please can you help me with a autumn/winter clothes question?

I have bought a number of tunic tops lately that will be suitable to wear in autumn/winter with a cardi but they go with navy leggings and I usually wear black. What colour boots do I wear with navy please? Brown?? Am clueless as you can see. Have been lurking on this board for a year and am slowly smartening myself up. Couldn't have done it without you all by the way so thank you.

I'm not sure that I'm stylish enough to give advice, but I would wear either brown or possibly dark grey. That would depend on the other colours in the tunic. Just not black, as I think that might be too harsh. Does that help at all?!!

Yes, thank you it does. I hadn't thought of grey. Tunics are mainly navy or blue. I intend to buy a couple of new pairs of boots next season and want to get the colours I will get most wear out of. Black obviously and then one to go with navy. I have a pair of dark brown boots so maybe will try them on with them. I had also wondered about lightish tan. Will have to have a browse online and see what is about. I never cared that much about clothes before I discovered Mumsnet and now I feel like I am letting you all down if I just chuck on jeans and a t shirt everyday Grin

If you buy tan boots they will go with black or navy leggings.

I was going to say tan boots. Tan goes with everything.

Tan it is then. Thanks all Smile
