Anyone found the secret to becoming less chunky of thigh and calf?

I am slim - size 10/12 - yet I have big thighs and calves, always have had. Surely there must be a way to whittle them down.

Anyone know how?

I have the same issue though I am a bigger dress size. I have never found a way, those are the places I just seem to carry muscle bulk Sad

I have chunky legs. Regular running makes my thighs leaner, but my calves even.chunkier.

Looks like we're doomed then Sad

This was exactly my problem.

The only thing that shifts stored fat on thighs and chunky calves is low carb. trust me, it worked on me and I never thought I'd have trim legs - ever. I am of the short legged, chunky calf variety with added 'thick' thighs to boot, despite being slim elsewhere.

Went low carb and ate wonderful meals - combination of India Knights 'idiot proof diet' and the 'low carb gourmet' cook book by a lady called Karen Barnaby and a little bit of atkins theory.

Ate loads of wonderful fat in the shape of cheese, greek yog, oils, fishes, dressings and just cut out wheat and sugar. Ate millions of veg and berries (lowest carb fruits) and gourmet home cooked meals

The more fat (don't be fooled - these are the good fats) you eat, the more fat it burns - you need to read the books to understand, but it works amazing. Your body turns into its very own fat burning machine :-)

AMAZING results. Fat burnt off, trimmed limbs, amazing skin, no allergies (eliminating wheat got rid of my hayfever and excema) and done sensibly over about 6 months and just carried on wiht it as a way of life once all levelled out.

The only thing ever to remove the stubborn leg chunk even after training for half marathons, gym overkill etc.

No one is doomed, it is by far the only thing that work.
Sorry for super long post but I couldn't believe it either. I introduced my w hole family and work colleagues to the low carb way of life and the health benefits and long term weight loss just spoke for itself.

Good luck in your quest

Not sure if you were aware but you can have Botox to reduce your calf widths.
