Please help me find a summer dress

Anyone fancy helping me find a casual summer dress please? Have spent too long looking and not finding.
I am 5'4", size 14, and no spring chicken. Informal rather than dressy. On or just below knee. Colours prefer autumnal palette, so golds, oranges, khaki, reds etc. no pinks or powder blues. I find it hard to get clothes to fit/suit so something would prefer from a shop where I could go try on as don't have time for mail order if what I order doesn't fit, and mail order might not arrive in time now in any case. Any ideas very much appreciated.

hi there. I have had a nightmare trying to find little summer dresses this year. I'm not sure of your budget but I found a nice navy and white stripe summer dress in the crew sale. I also just bought a more colourful stripe maxi dress from superdry. the trouble is all the shops are getting their autumn/winter stock in now so holiday sections of shops like marks or john lewis or whats left on sale rails seem to be only hope.

Thanks cloud. Yeah I know I've left it too late. Will take a look at your suggestions but suspect I'll just have to hike round the sales sections and hope I strike it lucky.

I bought the trudy dress

The second one is lovely and more the style I'm looking for than the first, just think it might be a bit too short. Bit worried about ordering online cos going away next week. I know , last minute idea that I might like a dress :-)

I think its quite a flattering shape. I had mine delivered to a crew store (ordered same dress in 2 sizes) tried them on in store and returned the one I didn't want there and then

ps. I'm 5'2" (on a tall day ) and tge trudi dress is much longer on me than the model lol

Yes, I quite often order loads online and return to store. Out of time for that now. Will hit the shops tomorrow, would appreciate any further help... But very grateful for being introduced to crew , I like a lot of their stuff and will definitely be ordering from there in future
