Which dress for a christening?

I have a christening to go to in August. DH's family are all v stylish. I really don't have a lot of money to spend on a dress and have narrowed it down to these two choices.

I'm 5'7', size 12, bit baggy around the middle, wrong side of 40. Which of these two dresses do you like the best?

Black and white. I like it, but am worried it will swamp me and make me look frumpy

Teal. Maybe a bit boring and officy?

Both your links are for red based dresses, which are both very nice but if pushed No.2.

I figured out how o change the colours. Still No.2 but only narrowly. I'd change the belt to metallic and where metallic strappy sandals.

I prefer the first one. The second one doesn't look like it fits properly on top.
