For some reason! Just had DD2 - have quite a cool wardrobe and work from home. Or should I just buy normal ones?!

I love them.
I can't vouch for my coolness though.

pocketandsweet · 30/07/2013 21:43

Link won't work for me... Which ones?

CareerGirl01 · 31/07/2013 18:28

They are store.drmartens.co.uk/p-2407-1b60.aspx
I've got an interview for a freelance contract on Friday - if I get it may treat myself. But I wore them first time round - circa 1988 age 18!

I'm nearly 41 and am currently rocking a pair of 8 hole cherry reds. Buy them. YOLO, as the kids say.

muppetthecow · 31/07/2013 18:33

Treat yourself - I have about four pairs of DM's this length in varying colours and about another six ankle length ones. I have a DM problem! and they're fantastically versatile. Skirts, shorts, dresses or trousers all look great with them Smile

gindrinker · 31/07/2013 18:43

I've them in plain black. Do it they're comfy and practical and so pretty.

CareerGirl01 · 31/07/2013 18:53

Thanks guys - am a size 6 - do they come up big?

OP posts:
pocketandsweet · 31/07/2013 18:56

I love them but I have chunky calves so probably not for me. I wished I didn't look on the website last night though, after your post, because I have spent all day trying to justify buying those black Triumph ones.

pocketandsweet · 31/07/2013 18:57

Wish not wished. Argh phone

pocketandsweet · 31/07/2013 18:59

Yes sizing info please. I'm a six too in most shoes are they true to size ( if I break down and order them). Damn this website.

mrsseed · 31/07/2013 19:00

I have fabric ones covered in flowers. I'm 40 and call them my mid-life crisis boots. I LOVE THEM and wear them as much as I can

BikeRunSki · 31/07/2013 19:05

I am 42 and wear a lot of Docs. They come up a little large.

Stop that messing around.... Try to think.of your future....

Metalgoddess · 31/07/2013 19:07

Love them, I've got a few pairs and intend to carry on wearing them! Do it:

CareerGirl01 · 31/07/2013 19:11

I will have to make them my autumn boots! That and the Superdry padded biker jacket! Lets hope I can keep working from home and don't have to wear any serious clothes!

Hulababy · 31/07/2013 19:15

mrsseed - my 11y DD has some of the fabric flowery ones. As her mum I m totally and utterly barred from owning a pair as well :)

pocketandsweet · 31/07/2013 19:18

But too they give you giant painful blisters on the back of your heels?

AcrylicPlexiglass · 31/07/2013 19:40

They're great. I think they're quite ageless really. I'm 40 and wouldn't hesitate to wear them.
