I have £100 to spend on a piece of jewellery, where to go?

Its fast approaching a big birthday and my lovely mum has said she is giving me money to buy myself a piece of costume jewellery. I would normally buy from Top Shop and the like.

I have just been browsing The Outnet and they had some lovely pieces in the sale :). I think I would like either a bangle/cuff or a necklace.

Can any of you lovely stylish ladies point me in the right direction

I'd buy something silver from Jeremy Herber.

I'd go look at my fave handmade site who makes theeee most wonderful jewellery and she'll make all sorts of styles and make it how you want length clasp etc her cust service is outstanding. Quality stuff and some really pretty styles in there.... kyrenedesigns.com nothing like bespoke - beats all the mass produced rubbish.

Astley clarke some lovely bits on there.

What about a department store like Selfridges or House of Fraser? They usually have quite big jewellery departments with lots of concessions.

I got money for my 30th last month and bought an Alex Monroe necklace - I love it!

Another vote for Alex Monroe.

Where are you? If the midlands then go up the jewellery quarter in Brum

Saurus72 · 30/07/2013 19:29

Alex Monroe, without a doubt. If you can hang on for a few months, he usually has a sample sale in December in London with major bargains.

InMyShreddies · 30/07/2013 20:17

I love this bangle but also check out Monica Vinader. And if you're near London, Liberty's jewellery hall has loads of lovely fresh stuff.

Butler and Wilson or Wave

Stella and dot?
I'm not sure how style and beauty ladies rate their stuff but my friend is a 'stylist' new generation middle class tupperware seller and always has lovely stuff.

I've not bought from here yet but occasionally drool over the stuff. Just seems very different.
