It's not as frothy as the image on the instructions and it says it should be!

And it's looking rather red!

I've applied medium chocolate brown on my coloured medium flat brown hair. It was all patchy looking from previous colours so wanted to slap on a rich chocolatey shade. I followed the instructions correctily so how come I don't have a full head of foam? I'm guessing this ain't gonna turn out right is it?

Don't worry, it never foams up very much. I have used it several times and its fine.

I loved the coverage with these JF foam ones but the colours are way off imo, way too dark.

Mine didin't foam as much as the pics either.

They don't foam at all IMO and chocolate colours are certainly more red than chocolate.

I went for a light brown, I now look like a teenage goth with black hair and a very pale face Sad

Well it's done, there isn't a great difference - my hair is slightly darker & warmer. At least it's not red or black (although inside the house it's very very dark, but near a window/ outside its a dark warm brown. It's more uniform than what it was I suppose. I think I'll just leave it (hair) alone now & just let it wash up, as it usually does after a while. i'll try & get it in better condition & then re-colour in a couple of months or so, i may achieve better results next time if it foams up!
