I picked up a black and white dress and dh sneered and said 'it's so not you' so I put it down again! I have bright green and blue tops. and a poplin shirt! Just can't bear the thought of anything but black on my arse/legs/stomach.

Yes that's a nice fabric Gloworm, but I would prefer less coverage, just a little thing to cover my shoulders.

Am sorry cod, I always completely infuriate you within about 2 minutes :)

WWW, you are right, there are some, but they are frighteningly expensive, aren't they? That's the general sort of thing, though.

Hey I like that hat

is that from Kew?

GDG · 11/06/2006 21:28

WWW - can highly recommend sandals from Clarks called Rosabella - I have them in the bronze colour and also in white. They are like slippers comfort wise but are sequined so have a bit of glitz. They look fabbo in the sun and I'm living in mine worn with skirts or jeans. Look particularly good with tanned feet!!

Have you tried H&M for skirts? - I've got a couple of really nice ones from there, one long, one just below knee. They are patterned but look really nice with a plain vest/shoestring top. I've been living in floaty skirts, glitzy sandals and Tesco £5 secret support shoestring fitted vests (might not be ideal for those with decent sized norks though).

The other skirts I've got are a couple of cotton ones from Monsoon (last years sale though!), just below or on knee. Also got a nice one from Tesco - white with blue thin stripes in it going in different directions - really floaty and cool.

WideWebWitch · 11/06/2006 21:40

Thanks GDG, F&Z I think that shrug's out there somewhere.
I tried on all the stuff and it's ok, except for one top and one pair of shoes.

I have a new shopping strategy btw, look at it, buy it (i.e DON'T Stand in loooong q to try it on) and then if you don't like it, take it back for a full refund the next day. It takes a LOT of the stress and time out of shopping I've found.
