Handbag for a summer city holiday

I'm off to USA for a holiday, our time is being split between two major cities. I am taking some summer dresses and some smart-ish linen shorts with tops mostly in beiges/browns/burgundy, with sandals and converse to make a capsule wardrobe (hate that phrase!) because I have a ridiculously tiny amount of suitcase left for my things after all the DCs stuff.

I want a handbag that will go with my clothes in style and colour and will fit in all the stuff I will have to have with me each day.

All the bags I currently have are too massive, tatty or black. I'm craving a lovely summery bag, budget £50 absolute (and I really mean absolute!) max spend.

I need to fit in:

a nappy
travel pack wipes
make up compact
foldup hairbrush
tiny bottle sunscreen
tiny bottle medicine (25ml)
mini travel purse

Oh, and I want it to be preeetttyyyyy

What about a Cath Kidston cross body bag? There are some in the sale.

It needs to be cross body and have a zip fastening too, just to keep the pickpockets at bay.

Triangular shapes work well. I have a Louis Vuitton Poppincourt Long - it's discontinued and out of your price range, but the shape is ideal. It would fit all that in, plus a bottle of water and scarf.

However, if nothing like that is available, then how about this one from asos. It ticks all the boxes and leaves enough from your budget for you to have some well deserved glasses of vino on hols.

I'm not feeling the Kidston vibe I'm afraid, thanks for the link though. The ASOS one is more the sort of thing but maybe in a lighter more summery colour, more pale? Maybe nude?

Longchamp les pilages. Chic and folds up and you can get them in pretty colours.

How about a look on Notonthehighstreet.com or at Bloomsbury Stores for something a bit different and pretty? Its sale time if you hurry so the prices work ... DH got me a beautiful bag as a changing bag from Bloomsbury - cross body and zipped - but I can't read the maker anymore. I will see if I can find it elsewhere
