What are your legs like?
Tops of arms?

Whats the best part of your body?

alexsmum · 09/06/2006 10:38

legs from the knees down are nice-quite shapely.arms are nice from elbow down-i have got slim wrists.tops of arms aren't hideous but i wouldn't wear anything strappy.norks are ok-decolletage ok-smooth and lightly tanned at the mo!
hate my tummy.

hmm
am thinking
what abotu a dress?

MamaG · 09/06/2006 12:44

What about some posh jeans with a nice top which shows off you cleav a bit, but covers tops of arms? If you wore with great jewellery and high heels, you wouldn't look mutton or granny!

alexsmum · 09/06/2006 18:10

cod-tell me more.what kind of dress? i don't normally do dresses so have little clue but quite fancy a dress.
the jeans idea is my standard going out outfit! fancy something a little different.

threelittlebabies · 12/06/2006 00:44

alexsmum, I'll come with you! Prefer to think I am tactful rather than blunt Wink

Really depends on where the party's taking place and the kind of people that will be there... dresses are really 'in' this season but be warned they're very prom style and girly...

Linen trousers always look classy and you can dress them up with heels and pretty top accentuating your bust and detracting from your tummy with a 3/4 length frock style linen jacket - think Monsoon had something pretty in this style... I'll ask my sister where she bought hers Smile

alexsmum · 12/06/2006 23:08

it's at a golf club and it's a big mix of friends and family-i'll be taking my children and my parents will be there too.I will be seeing all my cousins for the first time in ages-literally a couple of years.
The linen trousers idea is nice.
There is no way i could do anything prom dress ish.Frilly and girly does NOT look good on a 6 foot woman!
I'll have to have a good look around the shops.

Per Una at Marks and Spencer are doing lovely lines at the moment - Classic styles but with a quirky twist that keeps them well away from grannyish!!

Enjoy hunting out your outfit - I love it looking for specific things when you begin to get an idea of the image your looking for - great fun!
