I need a nursing bra & a tankini but can't find anything I like - help?!

Thanks to the bra intervention threads I've recently discovered I'm a 30FF. I've bought 1 nursing bra (Panache Alisha) but need another one in black. Ideally a simple t-shirt/plunge bra with minimal gore. This doesn't seem to exist! Anyone know of such a thing?!

I'm also on the look-out for a tankini now that my eldest is at the stage where he wants to live in the paddling pool. I'd like to at least have the option of joining him or even shock, horror taking him swimming or to the beach. I'd like something not too revealing & not too bright. At the moment I'm considering the Freya Active Swim tankini, with the matching shorts, but I'm wondering if there's not something a little more flattering - at least partially because I'd feel like a fraud wearing swimwear designed for actual swimmers when I probably couldn't even do a width! Blush

Can anyone help me with either? I've spent ages googling & going round in circles getting frustrated but I really do need another nursing bra that fits - I made the mistake of cramming myself back into my pre-intervention bra while my new one was in the wash & ended up waking up in the middle of the night worried I was going to develop mastitis from all the swelling/blocked ducts! I can't avoid the issue anymore! Sad

I hate clothes/shopping!

not black - alisa only £7 in the sale - but you can't miss a bargain!

sort of black one at leia

there are some here

Have you looked at Bravisimo for tankinis Smile

How long have you been feeding for? I have converted a couple of panache tango plunge which are great. No problems with blocked ducts for me (and I've had plenty!) I wear underwires most days now, but my Dd is 9 months.
You could also look at Lorna drew, some if those are lower cut, but come up small ime.

Sorry, Lorna drew

I got annoyed at my indecision & actually bought things! I'm now the proud owner of a Panache Geneva tankini top, in 30F - DS2 is only 7 weeks & I want it to last a while - it's tight but not uncomfortably so, & a Panache Holly skirt. I gave up looking for one range that had a tankini & bottoms I liked & took a gamble on them being complementary given that they're the same brand & both black. It's perfect! Grin DH very much approves of it too! Blush

I'm still waiting for the bra to arrive but I've ordered a normal bra from Debenhams & am planning to convert it to a nursing bra. Huge thanks to ellan for that tip. It would never have occurred to me! The bra I ordered is underwired so I am a little concerned about the potential for blocked ducts but it's only really for when my other bra is in the wash or when I want to wear a black strappy top.

I want the sun to come back now so I have an excuse to wear my tankini! Grin
