House of Fraser- bra fail!

I've seen quite a few threads recently where M&S were getting a bit of a slating for their poor service when it comes to bras so thought I'd just share this little doozy from House of Fraser.(I'd popped in on the way to Bravissimo as have HofF vouchers).

Me: rummage through racks right beside till.....DH double checks to make sure I don't miss anything.

Me to lady at till: Can you please help? I'm looking for a 34GG, in a plunge style.

Lady: shrug they'll be there if we've got any

Me: (politely) I've looked through there. Do you have anything else in any style?

Lady: Probably not. If we have any they will be over there... points to the oldest granny bras I've ever seen and I'm in my 20s then shrug*

Me: Raises quizzical eyebrow.

Lady: You better go to Bravissimo.

That was literally all of the service I got today. Why do so many department stores have such poor assistance and service? This assistant wasn't a stroppy teenager but much older than me too

Sorry I had little action stars beside all the shrugs but they've gone! My apologies, this makes my post rather difficult reading!

OrangeLily I had exactly the same from my local HoF - they don't stock above a GG or H at all. Except the woman there was complaining about "that Bravissimo, they just take you tighter and tighter"....erm no they put you in a bra that fits dippy!

You would think in a population that is growing in average bra size they would at least attempt to make an effort. It's not like I'm freakishly large but I felt treated that way. That's over £100 lost yesterday for them because the just couldn't be bothered.

That IS crap service. But just to add balance, the HoF lingerie staff in my local store were amazing - and right about me being a 32" (pretty much by sight) even when I insisted I couldn't possibly be - and they didn't really say "I told yo so" when I took my 34" bras back .....
