Maxi dress for petite people

I'm looking for a maxi dress but I'm only 5ft 2. Do you think they are only for the long and lean? I don't love my legs so like the idea of hiding them. I am slim but all the ones I see are for Amazonian women!

I'd like something that isn't too stroppy, that you can wear a bra underneath for day wear.

Any shorties out there have any tips?

Maxi dresses from Next in the petite range may be good for you. I am 5 ft 3 with a slim frame and I ordered a size 6 petite maxi dress from the summer directory and it was perfect. Oasis maxi dresses fit me quite well too.

I bought one from the White Company in the sale a couple of months back, was recommended on he and yes, it's long on me (5ft 3) but it looks fine IMO.

Ebay. Type in "petite maxi dress" and there are a few good options. I'm 5ft and size 12 with boobs/hips. My QED London "bubble top" maxi dresses arrived today and are v flattering :) Very looks like it has good offerings but has sold out of nearly everything....
