I don't seem th have much like with primers find they make my skin greasy. Is there any other good ones anyone can recommend?

Smashbox photo finish is awesome - goes on like a dream Smile

Smashbox is nice - I've used the green one for ages.
Laura Merciers are nice too - I have the oil free primer, and have been using a sample of the mattifying secret finish for a while, which is also good.

Inglot Under Make Up Base is good too.
Bodyography makes a green one which is just as good as the green Smashbox primer.

You don't need to use a primer though. So if they don't work for you, don't bother, unless there's a special need for it.
I find that oil free ones are best for me, as they don't make my face feel and look oily/greasy.
The green ones (not oil free) are great during winter, where my skin doesn't get as greasy, but tends to get red. And the green helps a bit on that.

Thanks everyone. I'm in Australia so I'm not sure if I can get Smashbox. We have a big department store in the city so I will have a look in there.

I really like pore professional, works for me.

I bought a sample set with Porefessional in a week or two ago and I like it a lot, but probably not enough to pay £20 odd pounds for a full size one tbh. It's nice but not amazing.

I have quite oily skin and tend to get greasy with some primers (I do not get on with silicone-y ones) but really like Porefessional.

Smashbox is def the best one so far for me. Feels like velvet and works brilliantly. You only need a little too :) can you order it online?

i use a boots no 7 one - its £12 and its fab. makes my foundation glide on (but i do use a good foundation - estee lauder - the stay put one - cant remember its name!) but the primer give an absolutely flawless finish.

i think you dont have to spend ££££ on a primer - but use a good foundation.
