recommendations for everyday hold-you-all-in knickers

Just that really. I am three weeks post c section and my tummy is far from flat (not that it ever was). everyone is telling me it's early days but I look (and feel) terrible whilst other new mums seem to bounce back quickly.

I'm after something not too constricting but something I could wear everyday that would smooth out the double tummy I am left with - it looks as though I have a tight piece of elastic dividing my tummy and you can see it through clothes. Scar is still sore so big pants are more than fine for now!

I noticed m&s had lots of shaping knickers in yesterday but I didn't even know where to start. Any ideas what I could try?tia

Ty t k maxx, they have a few bits in, I got some every day nude shorts from there last week and they had several kinds. Cheaper than marks too who I find cost a fortune and they all roll down on me :(

Primark ones are excellent.

Just re reading your thread, 3 weeks IS really early to be even thinking about what state your tummy is in! I had to change to big pants after my cs and only recently, after 2 years have been able to wear more 'short' style pants. I just can't have anything resting in my scar, and would be scared of any of the holding in pants rolling down and damaging it

I like the belvia body suit. It's so comfy and works well.
Get it in wilko.

Try the Belly Bandit (on Amazon) which is designed for post-pregnancy tummies. I tried to use one after my last pregnancy and it seemed good, but I started using it a few months after the birth, which was too late to help.

I've also tried and liked Fit Britches, but they are also pricey!
