Where can I get shorts for dd that are not really short

as in hot pants short which they all seem to be this year. Would rather have something between bottom and knee, ideally cotton. She could wear a women's size 6 or a child's age 14 probably.

And same for skirts actually.

Gap sale? I got some in there. They have nice bright colourd.

Boden seem to have a huge range of styles too.

DDs got some at Hollister - not hot pants but on the shorter side - probably a 2 inch inseam at a guess, but we did the bend down test and nothing was at risk of being inadvertently displayed.
