Had hair done yesterday & hate it, can I ring up hairdressers tomorrow?

I normally have 2 different blonde highlights. I ususlly have a 10-20 foil package special deal. I've had this hairdressers twice as my old one left. The cut is fine but I went in for my usual colour & she suggested doung copper foils as the ends were quite blonde. It has come our really red & you can hardly see the blonde any more. I hate it & DH hates it. It's my 21st wedding anniversary today & DH birthday. I just keep on crying as I don't want to go out. What do I say when I ring the hairdressers tomorrow. Are they likely to charge me to fix it? I want some more blonde foils on top so it doesn't look so dark or red.

Call them and see what they say. It easily fixed I'm sure.

Thanks Snowmummy. I shall ring first thing. I know the girl is in Mon as she is quite senior. She is quite booked up as i heard her say at the till but I'm sure a junior or someone else can put a few foils in & blow dry it. I have been going to the salon for 11 years & it's the first time I've had a problem. I'm just worried if they charge me to fix it up. I hate it when you know you hate it, just pay & want to get out. It was only when I got home & saw in daylight that I really didn't like it as the lighting is different in the salon.

Just go back & explain you are not happy, they would rather know that you're unhappy & be given the chance to sort something out than risk being bad mouthed. I'm sure they'll sort it out for you, after all you are a loyal customer! Also, stand your ground, this was their mistake - one that they should correct, therefore at no expense to yourself.

Update: In hairdressers now. Girl was very nice. I have some blonde & my own base colour foils on to fix it. They aren't charging me. I will just stick to my usual blondes next time.

My hair turned out ok. I had a toner also put on so it is more light brown now with some blonde highlights. You can see the copper just a tiny bit but I don't look red anymore.
Thanks for giving me the courage to go in & fix it.
Next time she said she will do the blonde foils with some base colour to blend it. Am so glad it's ok now.
