So I measured and am 37 inches around my ribcage then I am 44 inches when I bend over. I think looking st the posts that makes me 36-38 E. however, I am currently wearing Fantasie bras in size 38D as measured by John Lewis after I finished breast feeding.

They gape loads in the cup, like there's loads room so I just can't see how I can go up a cup?

Your measurements would suggest trying a 36FF/F and a 38F/E.

How is the cup on your 38D after scooping?

Thank you for replying Sorrel, it gapes a lot after scooping, it gapes on the top of the cup. I lost a lot of the fullness in them after breastfeeding.

Thanks, I will go and try some on.

What style of bra are you wearing/trying? If your boobs are quite empty at the top then full cups/moulded tshirt bras and plunges may not work that well. Try a balconette.
