I want some of those cropped jogging bottom things

But don't know what they're called or where to get them. They look a bit like jogging bottoms but stop just below the knee with a cuff. Can anyone more sartorially aware help an old gimmer?

I think they are called capri's x

AncientCrone · 20/07/2013 15:02

Thank you, I thought Capri pants were straight and tight so could be where I was going wrong.

I think capri pants are straight and tight! What you're after are just cropped jogging bottoms. I'm wearing a pair right now that I got in the underwear/sleepwear section of H&M. Not recently though, so I don't know if they'd have them now!

charitygirl · 20/07/2013 15:39

Cuffed harem pants is what I'd call them. Hush usually stock them.

sandiy · 20/07/2013 15:42

Primark hideously unflattering unless you are a size eight and wearing a tight fitting tee IMHO.I mglad I bought cheapo ones as they are very comfy for sobbing at home

sandiy · 20/07/2013 15:44

Slobbing not sobbing although I felt like sobbing when I saw my arse in them!

ChablisLover · 20/07/2013 19:21

Sports direct or new look always seem to have them

Inthebeginning · 20/07/2013 19:24

I was going to start one today asking this! I thought cropped harem pants. Going to have a look now.

piratecat · 20/07/2013 19:25

loads of them on ebay.

cheerfulweather · 20/07/2013 19:27

Think they're just called cropped jogging bottoms?

melodycool · 20/07/2013 19:38

Are they not called clam diggers?

piratecat · 20/07/2013 19:42

i thought they are called cropped harem pants.

smellylittleorange · 20/07/2013 21:08

southeastastra · 20/07/2013 21:10

dirtyface · 20/07/2013 21:21

i got some huntington ones a couple of years ago from USC

sorry not helpful at all really

but have seen similar in H & M

beyondthepaleandinteresting · 20/07/2013 21:33

Hush cropped hareems. I live in them all summer.

peachypips · 20/07/2013 21:40

Yes cropped harems. I have some. I would look lovely in them but I am fat.

AncientCrone · 21/07/2013 00:22

Those are the badgers! Thank you. Cropped harems. I would never in a million years have got that. Also have never heard of Hush even though you are all so casually name-dropping it

I just bought some in the GAP sale and they had loads if it helps.

ClartyCarol · 21/07/2013 00:31

I got mine from Asda if we're talking budget versions.

AncientCrone · 21/07/2013 09:38

Budget versions are good Wink

Can't see any on Asda website though or Gap really. Gap have some in their sleepwear section (this is fine with me) but only in black or coral (also they are calling them capris ).

H&M sold out in my size, can't see any on Zara website. I'm going to have to go to an actual shop, aren't I?

I have ordered some cheapo cropped joggers from ebay so will see if they're the right kind of thing. They look less voluminous than cropped harem pants.

Thanks all for your assistance :)

The Asda ones I have are black; what colour are you after? I got them a couple of months ago - they seem to
have a weekly stock turnaround, things change in store so fast!

I'm sure Primark must stock them too.

AncientCrone · 27/07/2013 01:07

Grey I think ... Wore black all the way through my 20s but seems a bit harsh now.

My cheapo ebay ones have arrived and I LOVE them, but feel vaguely guilty going out in them, as though I've gone out in my pjs or something. Find myself being repeatedly drawn to the Hush ones ...

Grin glad they are nice. i love the style but my thighs are to big and my legs too short.
