can I wash my make up brushes on the dishwasher?

I'd have thought it would trash them.

Why woud you want to?

Just do them in the sink with a very mild shampoo.

I think the heat would melt the glue, but I might be wrong! I always put fairy liquid in my palm and then swirl the brush on it, wash it off and repeat until the water runs clear.

I wash them in the sink with shampoo. They dry really quickly in this weather. I wouldn't risk the dishwasher!

Please someone say they have done this and got clean and working brushes afterwards.......

I wouldn't. I use Vosene on mine. It's a great clarifying shampoo and gets through the makeup.
