I'm looking for high waisted, soft skinny jeans - any recommendations?

Just that really!

Have a wobbly belly at the minute so want to try and forget it with high waisted skinnies!

Must be really soft!

Any ideas?

The last time I bought skinnies from Dorothy Perkins they were nice and soft, and relatively high-waisted - worth a try.

Other than that, my H&M maternity ones fulfil both those criteria, if you don't mind the fact that they're maternity!

Great will check those out!

Am size 10 though so don't really think I need maternity ones- need to try and tone up this wine/section belly! GrinGrin

It's far too hot to be thinking about trousers but I'm still watching with interest! Wink

I bought New Look skinnies in my usual size and they are dead stretchy so are actually now a bit too big. I would recommend buying a size lower than you think you need.

I second the TopShop Kirsten jeans. Also, Tesco skinny jeans come up quite high, are seriously soft and cost very little!

Gap high rise Skinnies (if you can get them as they are often out of stock - try online) are absolutely brilliant. They really do come up high and are very flattering.

Are the TopShop Kirsten jeans any good if you are size 14 with a big arse? Smile

And are the GAP high rise skinnies true to size?

Thanks

Asos Ridley jeans are high, skinny and very soft. They come in different lengths too.

Sizing is all over the shop though - black and grey ones are massive!

Primark super skinny. They come in loads of colours and are really soft. And £11!

Supersoft new look highwaisted skinny jeans are amazing! Agree with them stretching though, buy size down- good boost for self esteem too!!

New Look skinnies good, yes, but I bought size 12 and they were a bit big after just one brief wear. They're SO stretchy. They are a good shape though.

I've got a size 14 bum and a size 10 waist so I usually split the difference but in this case I think the answer is to size down to 10. (8 in your case)

CeliaFate · 19/07/2013 13:18

New Look. I bought a size 10 when I'd normally wear a 12. Lovely and soft, comfortable and high waisted.

What's the budget? I buy jeans from John Lewis - make "Not Your Daughter's Jeans". They're very soft and very flattering (and high-waisted). However also very expensive. They come big so you need to buy a size smaller.
