BillStickersIsInnocent · 18/07/2013 21:21

Or even flexitol

BeanoNoir · 18/07/2013 21:22

What's that?

After a bath, slather them in Flexitol heel balm and pop a pair of socks on

BeanoNoir · 18/07/2013 21:23

I've just smothered my feet in moisturiser and put socks on. Will that help a bit? I need to nip this in the bud before it gets out of control. I used to quite like my feet.

Flexitol v rich heel balm. Is lovely stuff. Get it at chemist or supermarket

Macdog · 18/07/2013 21:24

these are brill to get hard skin off.
Use in bath with soap

Doinmummy · 18/07/2013 21:26

Boots cracked heel cream , it's magic. In fact any cream that has urea in it works.

BeanoNoir · 18/07/2013 21:26

Oooh that flexitol's quite cheap too. Will buy it and try it Grin

I put a couple of blobs of olive oil in a bowl of water and soak my feet for 10-15 mins a day and they've come out lovely. I've been doing it daily in this weather

Then I just use a pumice on the heel (I have only I dry heel Confused ) inbetween when in the shower

cafenoir · 18/07/2013 21:29

YY to Flexitol. Have tried most other heel balms and found this the best. Also got some for DB who had dreadfully cracked heels last winter and they sorted his out within a week. Once yours are under control try the Soap & Glory foot file or similar and then rub in some flexitol. You should love your feet again pretty soon.

BeanoNoir · 18/07/2013 21:29

Olive oil in a bowl sounds good too. I like zero effort! And it will cool my feet down

Footner. Footner. Footner.

Amazing foot peel from Boots. Soak feet in little chemical booties for an hour. Wait three days. Watch feet peel.

I have raved about this on other threads. Awesome and disgusting

Blatherskite · 18/07/2013 21:33

Footner appears to be a range. Is it the exfoliating socks that you've tried Micky?

morningsarepants · 18/07/2013 21:33

Flexitol heel balm is the answer. I used to have cracked feet so bad they bled. I use Flexitol every morning and have never had another problem in about 8 years

evertonmint · 19/07/2013 13:39

I have horrendous heels if left for anything more than a day or two. Cracked, dry, dirty looking. After several years of trying different products I've learned that only flexitol heel balm works so I don't buy any others now. A few nights of loads of flexitol + socks plus a daily rub with a foot file works a treat to get them softening then flexitol morning and night to maintain.

I am about to give the footner socks a try too as they sound brilliantly hideous - peeling, flakey feet Grin

CeliaFate · 19/07/2013 13:40

Exfoliate first, otherwise you're just slathering it onto the dead skin.

Shroomboom · 19/07/2013 13:45

Ped Egg's are brilliant for getting rid of hard skin, I'd definitely recommend them!
