Sun dresses with straps suitable for wearing a bra under!

Just that really. Desperately trying to find some nice summer dresses that have reasonable sized straps or are designed for bra wearing as I'm an F cup and I need to wear a bra!

Have scoured high st and internet. Can only find thin straps or strapless. Or what I consider a bit twee or frumpy (Fat Face / Debenhams)

Short or knee length. Not maxi! Ideally cotton type material

Any ideas?? I'm 5'3, 37yrs old, size 12

Looks like I may have got the last 12 though, sorry! It is really lovely and not frumpy at all. Knee length on me, I'm 5'5 if I stand up really straight.

Thanks, I did try the Serena and a load of others on in Fat Face on Monday but they were a bit too long on me, I felt top heavy and frumpy :-(

I know you mentioned Debenhams so you may have already checked this, but maybe their Mantaray range might have something? I have a couple of nice dresses from there, one with reasonably thick straps.

Ah, then that could be a problem because that style (wide strap) mostly seems to come in a default longish length. Found a couple on Fever which could work, but again length may be an issue.
