Hooded eyes - anyone up for tips, tricks and a moan?

On the back of the push liner thread I though there might be some MN wisdom to glean. As the effects of gravity have increased have I've slowly graduated from push liner with 'proper' eyeliner and a decent, small wing, to using it with a slim line and a smaller wing. Am now down to push liner and a teeny suggestion of a wing.

Have also had to more or less give up on all but the most subtle shadow 'cause my eyes aren't evenly hooded - have more lid on the left eye.

So, yes, anyone got any tips and tricks?

I'll start: is a damned good tutorial with two ways to add a wing to a hooded eye.

Oooh thanks for this link MrsL. I've never worked out a way to line my upper eyelid because of the hoodiness. Mine's not age-related (although I am now in my 50's) as I've always had them.

I sort of do the same thing as in the video but under my eyes. But I'm going to have a go at this. In addition to hooded, mine are also small and deep-set! So not a lot to work with.

I've always had them but they've got a lot worse in the last 5 years, since I hit my 30s.

There's got to be tricks about, loads of 'em - isn't particularly unusual. Not managed to work out anything more than eyeliner on my own though. Grr

Yup, we can't be the only ones. I'd love a bit more canvas to work on. I have to apply eyeshadow really carefully as the area betwixt eyebrow and eyelid is so small. I'm going to have a look around youtube and see what else might be lurking on there.
