Would anyone like to help me pick a bridesmaid dress?

I've posted a picture of the wedding dress I'll be wearing on my profile as I have no idea what style of bridesmaid dress to go for.

Would like a pale silver or gold colour or a neutral shade. And preferably not strapless. Bridesmaid has a runners build, slim size 8, early 30s in age, fair skin tone.

I would suggest you and your bridesmaid go look together, would you have let someone else choose your dress?, who knows your style? who knows what looks good or bad on you??

Thanks for that, obviously my lovely bridesmaid is going to pick her own dress! I am looking for ideas as we are both undecided about what style to begin with. Her only requirement is not strapless.

I love your dress its very Hepburn . Does your bridesmaid want long or knee length ?

Bridesmaid is open to all suggestions, her only proviso was not strapless. Which was the only stipulation I had for my dress too!

Have you looked at the Ghost dye to order range sold by John Lewis? My sister has one and she sounds a similar build to your bridesmaid.

I have just bought that phase eight dress for a wedding next year. I think it's currently reduced a bit in the sale if you're quick, I am sending a size 8 back to John Lewis so that should appear on their website soon. It's a lovely dress but not that pale . Hope your friend likes it!
