Hi, that's it really. I usually shave my bikini line, but it itches like mad after and while it's growing out. Are the creams any different?
Thanks.

Waxing is the only non itchy method in afraid! I only tried cream once and the itching was so bad I would never do it again.

I use Veet after trying every method and its the only one that doesn't make me itch

Oh! So it's either severe pain or itching then. I might try a home kit.

Wax (but Do NOT home wax ! especially if you've not done it before!!!)

Get to a salon and it'll be all over in 15 mins.

Waxing - but you need to find someone good. With a good professional it shouldn't hurt too much. If you do it at home it will. You can always take a painkiller before and they do it so quickly it is only a momentary wince of pain. For more long lasting, could go for laser hair removal.

Or leave it. Not an answer I know

QuinnFabray · 17/07/2013 10:15

I can't do anything, it all makes me come out in a hideous shaving rash, spots, ingrowing hairs etc. I use one of those little little hair removal wand trimmers, and just trim as short as possible.

I'm another Veet girl here - I've never encountered any problems using it and it does the job perfectly

Northumberlandlass · 17/07/2013 13:17

Waxing everytime, but I do have to put up with it growing inbetween.
I can't shave as I get horrendous rashes & ingrown hairs. Veet takes off the hair and about 4 layers of skin [ouch]

I go to a salon though, couldn't bear the thought of doing it myself [shudder]

Maverick66 · 19/07/2013 10:11

Waxing only solution if you can!t bear the pain take a pain killer 15mins before treatment . I would discourage home waxing this may lead to ingrown hairs etc. an antihistamine will help with the itching .

LJC82 · 19/07/2013 14:21

Veet is dangerous down there! I've taken a layer of skin off before & so has one of my friends, avoid at all costs! I get a hollywood hot wax every month. The first time is quite painful so take some Ibuprofen an hour before hand but then going forwards if you keep waxing every 5 weeks it's really not that painful. I get a quick second of pain & then it's over straight away. No ingrowing hairs, no itching & it's even growing back thinner after 2 years of doing it. The hot wax is so much less painful then the strips. I've tried every method of hair removal & I'll never try anything else now! Smile

If you get spots or rash it whatever you need to use sudocrem overnight and talc under your pants. Stops the irritation
