Right ladies, please come and help deck me out for my 50th birthday!

Am 50 in August, am having a party, and want a stonking dress.

I am 5'2", a boob-y size 14, and want something with a bit of a retro/vintage vibe. I don't really suit too fit and flare. Don't want to purchase from Lady Vintage as my sister bought from them recently, was surprisingly poor quality and the zip burst on her dress. I want something summer garden party-ish, florals but not an over-large pattern. I suit most colours and am happy to buy shoes to match if needs be but I do have a nice pair of red patent strappy sandals with a mid-height wooden heel which I have not yet had the chance to wear. I like retro colours, red, pink, blues and soft greens. I have quite short, auburn hair (intersperesed with badly applied by me red streaks), blue-grey eyes, freckly complexion

I don't really have a set budget, and would rather pay for the right dress, but probably would go to a max of £70 to £100. Any ideas, you lovely ladies?

Rose pencil dress?
print oto big?

Mrs Lettuce, I knew I could rely on you. Both are definitely along the right lines. I prefer the first one, I wear a lot of black-based clothes and have resolved to steer clear of that. Keep 'em coming!

Do have a look at Phase 8 Chatsworth collection . There are some lovely dresses there that FYI your description and are within (and over !) your budget. Quality is good too. HERE

Thanks Trumpton, Phase Eight do have some lovely dresses. I found this one in the sale which I like (though wouldn't wear the belt) www.phase-eight.co.uk/fcp/product/phase-eightGeranium-Print-Fit-&-Flare-Dress/201970000 and I also love this one www.phase-eight.co.uk/fcp/product/phase-eightFlavia-Ribbon-Tapework-Fit-and-Flare-Dress/202110845 which is not in the sale - may be a bit too orangey red for me. I quite like this www.phase-eight.co.uk/fcp/product/phase-eightChelsea-Flower-Print-Dress/202340120 but not sure if the ruching would hide or accentuate my tum!
Needless to say, the budget has gone out the window!!
