Hello fellow mummies! I'm just wondering if anyone has ever ordered a dress from www.jessydessy.co.uk/ - I'll be 7 months pregnant when I tie the note in October & there are some crazy affordable dresses on this site. I'm just wondering if anyone has used them before - if yes;

What is the quality like? I'm a firm believe you get what you pay for - & I'm worried these dresses look to good to be true?

Did you return anything? Was it hassle free? Is the customer service decent?

I'm just nervous - they claim to offer a full refund if you return within 7 days so I could just order & give it a go. But I thought it might be worthwhile posting on MN first!

Thanks in advance!

Can a mod please explain why my post was deleted?

I posted a link in reply to the question which I thought may help the questioner. Surely, just because it showed up the rather risky nature of doing business with a Chinese company posing as an English website and the problems getting a refund should anything go wrong, is not contravening the site rules.

Hi Speednet - I'm not sure why it got deleted but you were too late anyway... I ordered the dress and it was OK. But I am trying to sell it on ebay now as I found a dress from a UK retailer that was actually even cheaper & nicer (although still made in China!)

Thanks for your attempt at help.

I just relayed my wife's experience. She ordered a size 8 dress and the one that arrived was a 10/12 which was of no use at all. When I complained and asked where to send it for the "7 day refund guarantee" they merely said "have it altered" and would not disclose their address for the return. It would have cost more to have the dress altered than it cost and the whole shape would possibly have been affected. I would definitely advise anybody thinking of using them to only risk money that they can afford to lose and leave enough time before the event so that a replacement can be sought as in both of our cases. I have just seen another disappointed customer leave a message a jessydessy.info website

Hi Speednet

I had a similar problem with the sizing actually. I took my measurements and based on what the site said I ordered a 12 even though I am normally a 10 (even through pregnancy) but this dress was very large. I sold it on ebay for half what I paid for it and advertised it as fitting a 12/14.

I ended up ordering my dress from Seraphine and they were fantastic with the customer service (even sent me a swatch of the material!) Defo try to sell the dress on ebay - because even if you can't get the full money back you can get something. Mine sold for about £55 including shipping.

Good luck!
