tired of skinny jeans!

That's it, really.

I must have been wearing them for about 8 years now and while I will continue to do so (I have a wardrobe full of them) I'm just fed up of wearing them all the time.

Every year or so the fashion writers will herald the return of flares, but it always ends up being a false dawn. But then I found these :

What do you think?! If Topshop are doing them they must be coming back in... surely? Or am I deluding myself?! And it so, can anybody recommend a fashionable alternative to skinnies?

I love flared/bell bottom jeans.

While they haven't been in the shops I have been living in these although over time a few pairs of cheap skinny jeans have ended up in my wardrobe

I have just ordered these and hope I will love them cos I can't bloody well return them!

Those Boden jeans are lovely!

I detest skinny jeans but noticed loads in the sales when out shopping today so hoping that heralds the end of them...

Really like those Boden jeans in pic but fear they'd be baggy/ clownish on my legs in RL because legs much slimmer than rest of me!
May try a pair anyway if returns now free.

if anyone can point out the difference between 'skinny flares' and 'bootcut' (they look identical to me), that would be great...

mollygibson, thanks for that! I never knew about the check stores tool. Alas, they are not available in my nearest stores, but worth a try. I like the ones you ordered.

I know what you mean about not wanting to looking like Victoria Beckham, but I think you;ll be fine as long as you don't wear them with a spangley boob tube.
