what is up with this spot that never goes away?

I've got a small spot (it's on one side of my chin) that never goes away. It fades to almost nothing for ages then flares up again. It's never infected, but it does bleed if knocked. What on earth is it

is it a mole?

Could be a small cyst - my daughter has one.

Must be an old broken spot that has not healed but instead developed into to a cyst. Cysts don't go away.

Ds had a spot like this on his face. It eventually turned into a pockmark, Very strange. Ask the doctor.

The doc will be able to remove it with a few painless blasts of liquid nitrogen. I had solar keratosis removed that way.

Probably just a wart, but these things are so easy to deal with and I would recommend your GP take a look.
