My skin hates this weather

My skin looks terrible. It is dull and spotty and just generally yuk. I am putting it down to the combination of being hot and sweaty (I get the same thing if I don't wash my face straight after exercise) and wearing sun protection.

I haven't worn make up for a week to see if that helps, but it hasn't.

I use Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser and Day/Night Cream. Tonight I have tried using a REN cleanser and night cream that came free with a magazine to see if the change in product helps.

What can I do? My lovely radiant summer look is being sabotaged by spots.

What sun protection are you wearing? There's a massive difference between the stuff that was around a couple of years ago and the new generation ones. There's a thread about it I think. I'm using Estee Lauder's Daywear SPF50 and it's great, just like a very light moisturizer, hasn't caused any problems. Or DP is using an SPF15 matte moisturiser from Boots Botanicals which he seems to get on fine with.

You could also try dialling down the moisturiser and night cream a bit? I'm not really putting anything else on at the moment apart from the factor 50.

I've been using an Avon facial suncream, factor 30. I can't really afford Estee Lauder right now.

I am a bit cautious of going without moisturiser as I suffer with dry skin.

Am thinking of just using the suncream over my nose and cheeks as I don't seem to be getting spots there. I have a fringe and always wear big sunglasses (hayfever) so they are the bits that the sun really catches.

I love it, the humidity does wonders for my crepey flakes!

The humidity just makes my hair frizz
