Now, you see 'sandals can mean anything from sensible birkies to full on glittery, strappy vertiginous heels. What do you want them for ? Daytime ? Night time ? Down the pub with jeans ? Big night out in a posh frock ? Hill walking ?! Help us out here !

WelshBoris · 06/06/2006 12:56

try new look

Wink
Fimbo · 06/06/2006 13:04

I will rise above New Look thanks Grin

Here are the requirements:-
Kittenish heel
Open toe
Nothing that looks like they would cut your feet in two
Suitable for pub wearing/meals out.
Suitable for chasing after a 2 year old in pub garden!
Most go with trousers/jeans and ankle skimming skirts
Not look tarty

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 06/06/2006 13:43

do they need to buckle/ fasten round ankle?
will you consider wedges?
do you have narrow feet hence suit pointyish toes or do you have freakish flippers like me?
Are they just for daywear?

Tried \link{http://www.shoesdirect.co.uk/acatalog/Shoesdirect_Rochelle_1662.html\these} and \link{http://www.shoesdirect.co.uk/acatalog/Shoesdirect_Tally_1309.html\these} sneakily on way home yesterday and they are v nice, but no good if you're desperate for a kitten heel. Second ones are narrow/pointyish though.

Badger, those shoes are hard core lentil weaver trying to be a bit dressy look.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooo

How about flat but sparkly?
I boughtt a pair of sort of flip flop things form Matalan for £10 yesterday, covered with tiny beads which look very pretty (although I say it meself) with pink linen skirt and turquoise sleeveless linen shirt that am wearing today.

Thanks Mrs B - I do like those Clarks links but they are very much like the every day shoes I have.

I love Dune, YellowFeathers. I like the first pair you linked to, but think they would hurt my feet. I am feeling drawn towards \link{http://www.dune.co.uk/catalogue/styles.asp?r=9&g=77&s=241&y=S06LLE80SCS560M&page=4\these}

The last pair of Faith's made me laugh out loud, my nearly 8 year old dd would think they were fantastic and if she were here would be telling me to go and buy them!

Thanks for the suggestions, will have a good hunt around in Dune at the weekend, unless anyone knows where you can by Dune shoes on-line?

OP posts:
YellowFeathers · 06/06/2006 14:04

You can buy Dune on-line!

Fimbo · 06/06/2006 14:21

God I am such a dim-wit - thanks Yellow Feathers!
